Terms and Conditions for Booking
These Terms and Conditions govern the reservation and booking process with Guiding Cusco Expeditions. By making a reservation with us, you agree to the following terms:
1. Reservation Process
- To secure a booking with Guiding Cusco Expeditions, you must provide accurate personal and travel information through our website or via our authorized representatives.
- A deposit or full payment may be required at the time of booking, depending on the specific tour or service chosen. The required payment details will be provided during the booking process.
- Once payment is received, you will receive a confirmation email with your booking details and further instructions.
2. Payment Terms
- All payments must be made in the currency specified during the booking process. We accept various payment methods, including credit cards, bank transfers, and online payment platforms.
- Full payment must be completed before the departure date of the tour, as indicated in the booking confirmation.
- Guiding Cusco Expeditions reserves the right to cancel the booking if payment is not received by the specified deadline.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellations must be made in writing via email to guidingcusco@gmail.com. The date of receipt of the cancellation request will determine any applicable cancellation fees.
- Cancellation fees are applied as follows:
- Cancellations made 30 days or more before the tour date: Full refund minus a processing fee.
- Cancellations made between 15 and 29 days before the tour date: 50% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 15 days before the tour date: No refund.
- Refunds will be processed within 15 business days of receiving the cancellation request.
4. Changes to Bookings
- If you wish to make changes to your booking (such as modifying the tour date or itinerary), you must contact us as soon as possible. Changes are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.
- Guiding Cusco Expeditions reserves the right to make minor changes to itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather conditions or safety concerns.
5. Traveler Responsibilities
- You are responsible for ensuring that all personal details provided are accurate and up to date.
- It is your responsibility to ensure that you meet all health and fitness requirements necessary for the tour. You must also ensure that you have valid passports, visas, and any required travel documents.
- Travel insurance is highly recommended, and it is your responsibility to arrange and maintain adequate insurance for your trip, including coverage for trip cancellations, medical expenses, and personal liability.
6. Liability
- Guiding Cusco Expeditions will not be liable for any injuries, damages, losses, or additional expenses incurred as a result of your participation in a tour, including but not limited to delays, strikes, natural disasters, or any other unforeseen events beyond our control.
- We will make every effort to provide services as described, but we reserve the right to cancel or modify itineraries if necessary, in which case we will offer alternative arrangements or refunds when applicable.
7. Third-Party Services
- Some tours may include services provided by third-party suppliers, such as accommodation, transportation, and meals. Guiding Cusco Expeditions is not responsible for the performance or actions of these third-party suppliers.
- Any issues arising from services provided by third parties should be addressed directly with those providers.
8. Behavior and Conduct
- You are expected to conduct yourself in a respectful manner throughout the tour. Guiding Cusco Expeditions reserves the right to remove any participant from the tour if their behavior is deemed dangerous, disruptive, or offensive to other participants or local communities.
- No refund will be provided for individuals removed from the tour due to inappropriate behavior.
9. Force Majeure
- Guiding Cusco Expeditions is not liable for any failure to perform our obligations under these terms due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, political instability, or other “force majeure” events.
- In the event of a force majeure, we will make reasonable efforts to offer alternative arrangements or provide refunds where applicable, but we cannot guarantee full reimbursement.
