Overview
Choquequirao Trek 4 Days, When this magnificent city was rediscovered, nobody visited it because we already had Machu Picchu. One historian assumed that Choquequirao was the Golden City, and it was later proven to be the last refuge of the Incas before the Peruvian coast. The location of the city is close to the gods (sky, sun, moon, star and mountain). This spectacular Choquequirao Trek 4 Days will take you to the enigmatic last refuge of the Incas. Choquequirao (3,103m / 10178ft) is a huge archaeological complex still in the process of cleaning and restoration located in the surroundings of the sacred mountain of Padreyoc (5,771m / 18933ft) and the Apurimac river canyon (one of the deepest canyons in Peru). You will enjoy incredible mountain scenery as well as a lot of Andean flora and fauna. If we comment on the entire Inca Trail in South America, this is a section of the original trail with a lot of history and legend. Choquequirao Classic Trek
