Terms and Conditions
This document sets the basis for a commercial relationship between you, the client, and Guiding Cusco.
Deposit
When booking a tour with us, you commit to paying a non-refundable deposit for the specified tour. The deposit for most multi-day hikes is USD 300, and for single-day tours, it’s USD 90.
Confirmation
You will receive a confirmation email for the tour for which you have made a deposit. In this email, we will send you this document in PDF format. By booking with us, you agree to comply with the Terms and Conditions detailed in this document, and the contract becomes binding.
Cancellations
The terms of cancellations are defined by the notice period provided to us. Regardless of the cause, cancellations are subject to different penalties, which you, as our client, agree to adhere to:
- Cancellations made one week before the trek will result in a loss of 100% of the total cost of your tour.
- Cancellations made two weeks before the trek will result in a loss of 80% of the total cost of your tour.
- Cancellations made three weeks before the trek will result in a loss of 70% of the total cost of your tour.
- Cancellations made one month before the trek will result in a loss of 60% of the total cost of your tour.
Medical Release and Waiver of Liability
All clients are required to sign a waiver of liability acknowledging the risks and dangers they will face and accepting all responsibility upon entering these environments. It is necessary to disclose any relevant medical information that allows us to minimize the risk to you and safely manage any eventuality during the tour.
Travel Insurance
For your protection, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance. Travel insurance offers refunds for trip cancellation or interruption, delays, medical expenses, emergency assistance, as well as baggage coverage and delays to protect your travel investment.
