Day 1: Cusco – Mollepata – Soraypampa – Lake Humantay
Start your adventure very early with pickup from your hotel and transfer to Soraypampa, the starting point of the hike to Salkantay. We begin with a scenic drive to Soraypampa, where the most challenging section begins: the ascent to the turquoise lake most visited by travelers from around the world, Lake Humantay.
Day 2: Soraypampa – Salkantay Pass – Chaullay
The most demanding and rewarding day. We wake up to a view of the magnificent snow-capped Salkantay and enjoy a delicious cup of coca tea, which comforts us at the high altitudes of our route and gives us the energy we need to keep going. We cross the highest point of the route, Abra de Salkantay (4,635 m.a.s.l.), surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Day 3: Chaullay – Collpapampa – La Playa
